It is rare to face a real fork in the road and know with 100% certainty that one way is right and the other is wrong. Yet, entrepreneurs’ attributes are critical drivers of businesses, not-for-profit organisations, communities, and projects.

Innovative entrepreneurs think and act differently in an unstable and constantly changing environment.  They make a difference by finding new solutions to the problems in the ever-changing and disruptive world. After meeting many entrepreneurs and experts on the subject during my life, I believe you are born with the key entrepreneurial characteristics. While others acquire many of these characteristics through life experience, entrepreneurs are ‘wired’ differently. Nevertheless, entrepreneurs possess recognisable skills, many of which are inherent within us all. Uncover your hidden entrepreneurial characteristics and develop them sufficiently to become a successful manager and leader.

Thinking outside the box is one way to start acting like an entrepreneur.  However, the truth is that entrepreneurship can be more like a roller coaster ride than a cruise ship, but you will find that while life can be stressful, it is never dull.
